About the role

Reporting to the Head of Operations, this full-time Technical Manager - Energy role is responsible for providing technical leadership and strategic direction for the energy division of power corporation Philippines'. Based in Makati City, Metro Manila, you will play a crucial part in driving the company's ambitious energy projects and initiatives.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee the planning, development and implementation of energy-related projects and activities
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
  • Identify and evaluate new energy technologies, innovations and best practices to improve operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including government agencies and industry partners, to secure project approvals and permits
  • Monitor and report on project performance, identifying and mitigating risks and issues
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of energy specialists and engineers

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical, Mechanical or Energy Engineering
  • 10+ years' experience in an energy or utilities management role, with deep technical expertise
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex energy projects and initiatives
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Collaborative team player with the ability to lead and motivate others
