Mortgage Loan Shipper (Night Shift, Onsite)

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mortgage Loan Shipper to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for preparing and shipping closed mortgage loan files to our investors, ensuring every file is complete and compliant. You'll play a key part in the final stages of the mortgage process, working to ensure timely and accurate delivery of loan packages while adhering to all investor and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Loan File Review: Conduct a thorough review of closed loan files to ensure all documents are accurate and complete, with a focus on missing signatures, correct data, and required disclosures.
  • Shipping & Tracking: Prepare and ship complete loan packages to investors, both electronically and physically. Accurately track all shipments and maintain detailed delivery records.
  • Compliance & Communication: Coordinate with investors to confirm receipt of loan packages and resolve any post-closing conditions or discrepancies. Ensure all activities are compliant with investor, regulatory, and company policies.
  • Team Collaboration: Partner with our post-closing, underwriting, and loan processing teams to swiftly resolve any file issues and support a smooth and efficient process.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed reports on all loan shipments and outstanding investor conditions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of proven experience in US mortgage processing or shipping.
  • Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and industry-standard loan processing software.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Willingness to work a night shift schedule (Onsite).
