BASIC FUNCTION

Performs procurement of the right materials, supplies, and services, at the right price, from the right source, at the right time to ensure continuous and smooth operations of the company.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Sources out and provides requested materials, supplies, or equipment's based on approved written requests guided by the company's purchasing policies, procedures, and standards.

  2. Reviews orders of materials, supplies, and equipment for specification completeness, accuracy, and compliance with existing policies and procedures and provides feedback to requesting department on concerns related to the purchase of requested item.

  3. Negotiate lead-time constraints with suppliers based on purchasing policies to address and correct action to avoid delivery schedule delays.

  4. Conducts research, evaluates findings, and makes independent decisions on procurement matters.

  5. Interprets and evaluates contract provisions.

  6. Obtains oral and written price quotes from vendors.

  7. Compares quotes with the specifications and availability of items and places orders.

  8. Organizes, updates, and retains product information files and purchase order records.

  9. Reviews orders for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with existing policies and procedures.

  10. Obtains appropriate commodities in a timely and effective manner.

  11. Interviews vendors and evaluates their products and capabilities as a supplier.

  12. Performs duties that may be assigned from time to time.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Graduate of Bachelor's degree in public or business administration, administrative engineering, science, or a related field.

Pay: Php22, Php27,000.00 per month
