Responsibilities
  • We need an individual to assist in shipping and receiving coordination.
  • Maintaining accurate shipping and receiving documentation is essential.
  • Updating records in our database requires attention to detail.
  • The successful candidate will communicate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and other departments via phone and email to facilitate timely deliveries.
  • Monitoring shipments ensures timely delivery and identifies causes of delays.
  • Logistics management software and tools are used to track shipments and delivery schedules.
  • This role involves supporting logistical planning and implementation to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Familiarizing yourself with customer and supplier preferences is vital.
  • Special projects and reports may be assigned by management.

Required Skills
  • 3-5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills are crucial.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers and suppliers is essential.
  • Flexibility to work during weekends in the Pacific Standard Time zone.
