A. POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily HR operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and labor laws, supervising HR staff, and supporting management in implementing HR programs and strategies. The role ensures effective employee relations, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and process improvement across HR functions.

B. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Supervises the implementation of HR policies, company rules, and procedures.
  • Handles employee concerns, grievances, counseling, and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensures compliance with DOLE regulations, company handbook, and labor standards.
  • Conducts investigations and prepares Incident Reports (IRs) when necessary.
  • Monitors employee behavior and promotes positive workplace culture.

2. Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Coordinates with department heads for manpower requests.
  • Screens applicants and endorses qualified candidates.
  • Oversees onboarding and orientation of new hires.
  • Ensures complete HR requirements and 201 documentation.

3. Timekeeping & Payroll Coordination

  • Supervises timekeeping process and ensures accurate attendance records.
  • Coordinates with payroll for timely salary processing.
  • Reviews adjustments, overtime, deductions, cash advances, and final pay computations.

4. HR Administration

  • Monitors contract renewal, regularization, and employee movement.
  • Maintains employee records and updates HRIS/201 files.
  • Handles government-mandated benefits (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG).
  • Assists in preparation of HR reports and compliance documents.
  • Prepares HR memos, certificates, and HR communication.

5. Training & Development

  • Assists in Identifying training needs across departments.
  • Coordinates training schedules and monitors completion.
  • Supports performance evaluations and employee development programs.

6. Supervisory Functions

  • Leads and mentors HR staff on daily operations.
  • Assigns tasks and monitors completion and performance.
  • Coordinates with other departments to ensure effective HR service.
  • Recommends improvements to HR processes and systems.

7. Others

  • Assists management in HR planning and strategies.
  • Represents HR in meetings as required.
  • Performs other HR-related tasks that may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
  • 2–3 years HR experience
  • Knowledge of labor laws and payroll process
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
