Rodel Chemical Corporation is seeking an experienced and driven Accounting Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Pasig City, Metro Manila. As the Accounting Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial accounting and reporting processes within our organisation. What you'll be doing

  1. Supervising and coordinating the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and financial reporting
  2. Ensuring accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reconciliations, and other accounting reports
  3. Implementing and maintaining effective internal controls to safeguard the company's assets
  4. Analysing financial data and providing insights to support business decision-making
  5. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve accounting-related issues
  6. Mentoring and developing the accounting team to foster a high-performing, motivated workforce
  7. Ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, laws, and regulations

What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
  2. 3+ years of experience in a supervisory within financial accounting and reporting
  3. Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and best practices
  4. Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting
  5. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making skills
  6. Ability to lead, motivate, and develop a team of accounting professionals
  7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
