Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily accounts payable operations, including invoice processing, payment runs, and vendor reconciliations
  • Review and approve invoices, payment vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance
  • Ensure timely processing of vendor payments in accordance with company policies and payment terms
  • Manage and maintain vendor master files and resolve vendor inquiries and discrepancies
  • Monitor AP aging reports and ensure proper accruals and cut-off procedures
  • Enforce internal controls and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable
  • Prepare AP-related schedules, reports, and analyses for management
  • Coordinate with purchasing, receiving, and other departments to resolve invoice issues
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate accounts payable staff
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of accounts payable experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes, accounting principles, and internal controls
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Advanced MS Excel skills
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
