Key Responsibilities:
1. Equipment Maintenance & Repair
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment such as forklifts, loaders, excavators, trucks, backhoes, cranes, and other mechanical units.
  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems.
  • Conduct lubrication, calibration, and adjustment of machinery.
2. Troubleshooting & Diagnostics
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify equipment problems.
  • Analyze machine performance and identify root causes of breakdowns.
  • Conduct test runs after repairs to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
3. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all repairs and maintenance activities comply with safety rules, manufacturer standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain proper documentation of maintenance logs, inspection reports, and repair records.
  • Follow safety procedures when handling tools, machinery, and hazardous materials.
4. Equipment Monitoring & Reporting
  • Inspect heavy equipment prior to operation and report any abnormalities.
  • Recommend preventive measures and parts replacement schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Communicate equipment status and repair updates to supervisors and operators.
5. Tools & Equipment Management
  • Maintain and secure tools, spare parts, and equipment used for repair activities.
  • Ensure proper use and care of diagnostic and repair tools.
  • Request needed parts and supplies for maintenance operations.

Qualifications:
  • Vocational or Technical Course in Heavy Equipment Servicing, Automotive Technology, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Knowledge in mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to interpret service manuals, technical diagrams, and equipment schematics.
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools and mechanical instruments.
  • Physically fit and able to work in various environments.
