Job Purpose

The AP Finance Encoder (Accounts Payable Assistant) supports the Finance Operations Team by ensuring accurate invoice processing, timely vendor payments, and proper records management. This role helps maintain strong vendor relationships and contributes to the company's smooth financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Processing
  • Receive and review vendor bills, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Encode invoices into Oracle NetSuite for payment processing.
  • Vendor Relations
  • Communicate with vendors regarding invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and other concerns.
  • Provide timely updates on invoice and payment status.
  • Records Management
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of invoices.
  • Manage BTG Document Storage in the HQ Office.
  • Collaboration & Support
  • Coordinate with the Purchasing Team for invoice verification and accuracy.
  • Work with the Logistics Team to ensure timely transfer of documents.
  • Support other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • At least 1 year of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or Accounting.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and verification.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Oracle NetSuite is an advantage.
