Assistant Manager, Finance Systems & Reporting

About the Role

We are looking for an
Assistant Manager, Finance Systems & Reporting
to join a regional finance team supporting operations across Asia. This role combines
financial reporting expertise
with
hands-on experience in finance system implementation
and
project management
.

The successful candidate will help drive efficiency, accuracy, and automation in financial reporting processes through effective system use and collaboration with stakeholders across the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support
    finance system implementation projects
    , upgrades, and rollouts (SAP HANA and Ariba).
  • Manage
    month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial reporting
    activities.
  • Oversee
    journal entries, intercompany transactions
    , and group reporting submissions.
  • Coordinate with regional teams to ensure
    timely and accurate financial data
    .
  • Partner with Finance and IT to optimize
    system functionality and reporting tools
    .
  • Support
    process improvements
    and ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
    .
  • Minimum
    5 years of experience
    in finance systems or reporting roles.
  • 6–10 years of solid background
    in
    finance system implementation
    and
    project rollout
    .
  • Strong
    project management
    and coordination skills.
  • Hands-on experience with
    SAP HANA
    (Accounts Payable and FICO modules) is
    required
    .
  • Working knowledge of
    SAP Ariba
    is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in the
    insurance, banking, or financial services
    industry is a plus.
  • CPA qualification
    is an advantage but not required.
  • Excellent
    communication skills
    in written and spoken English.
  • A
    self-starter
    , agile, and able to work independently in a
    multinational, project-driven environment
    .
