Based in the Freeport Zone, Subic bay - Philippines, you'll play a pivotal role in the design, manufacture, and testing of our revolutionary Glamper 4WD camping system. This position offers a unique opportunity to influence product direction, make key decisions, and unleash your creativity in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Spearhead the end-to-end design and manufacturing process of a state-of-the-art 4WD camper system, ensuring high quality and robust performance.

• Collaborate with a wide array of manufacturers and fabricators, both locally and globally, to streamline production workflows.

• Employ your expertise in CAD/CAM tools like SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Inventor to innovate and refine mechanical designs.

• Develop and implement efficient production systems tailored to complex, low-volume manufacturing.

• Engage directly in hands-on problem solving and adapt quickly to challenges with a "move fast and get it done" mindset.

• Coordinate logistics and factory/production system design to ensure optimal manufacturing efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

• Continuously test and refine prototypes, employing feedback to enhance product quality.

• Take the lead in nurturing relationships with partners, including logistics and manufacturing entities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• Extensive experience in mechanical design and manufacturing, particularly in the Philippine context

• Proficient in both written and spoken English;

• Strong skills in mechanical CAD/CAM software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor).

• Strong skills in documentation for manufacturing

• Deep understanding of engineering standards, GD&T, safety and analysis in your field.

Bonus Points:

• You're the person people go to when no one else can solve a problem.

• Proven ability to design and manufacture and test complex, low-volume products.

• Experience with fiberglass layup processes similar to those in boat building, and understanding of 12V electrical systems.

• A hobby which is engineering or technology-focused, demonstrating a genuine passion for innovation and design.

• FEM and simulation experience
