Job Description

The position plays a critical role in shaping and executing sourcing strategies for packaging materials across multiple product lines. Working closely with cross-functional partners in marketing, engineering, quality, operations, and supply chain, this role ensures that supply solutions are both competitive and cost-optimized, while supporting innovation and sustainability goals.

Key responsibilities include identifying and developing high-performing suppliers, leading competitive bidding processes, and negotiating commercial agreements that balance cost, quality, and delivery. The manager oversees supplier relationships from new product introduction through ongoing production, driving improvements in lead times, working capital, and overall supply chain performance. Strong ability to consolidate spend at local, regional, and global levels, coupled with a deep understanding of commodity pricing and market trends, enables effective long-term strategy development as well as short-term risk management.

Success in this role requires proven experience in packaging and printing procurement, ideally within a high-volume manufacturing environment. Strong negotiating and project leadership skills, combined with expertise in contract management, cost modeling, and supplier performance metrics, are essential. The role also calls for proficiency in ERP and MS Office systems, as well as advanced analytical capabilities such as material cost breakdowns and market index analysis.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, are critical. Fluency in English and Tagalog is required, while Mandarin is an advantage. A bachelor's degree in business or a technical field is expected, with advanced education or professional certifications considered a plus. Travel within Asia is required.
