Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer.
  • Proven experience (3 years) working in civil engineering within the construction industry.
  • Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and processes.
  • Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and MS Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to construction sites.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions under pressure.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all civil engineering tasks on-site, including earthworks, structural works, roads, and drainage systems.
  • Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project specifications are met.
  • Conduct surveys and analyze data, including maps, blueprints, and drawings, to plan projects.
  • Prepare and manage detailed project reports, designs, and drawings as needed.
  • Monitor the progress of work at the construction site to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
  • Ensure that all activities are performed in accordance with local and national building codes and safety regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshoot on-site challenges or issues that arise.
  • Collaborate with project managers to schedule and forecast resources, manpower, and materials needed for successful completion.
  • Supervise and provide direction to site workers, contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of site activities, construction progress, and project milestones.
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination between the project team and stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25, Php35,000.00 per month
