About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant / Sr. Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic finance team at iOPEX Technologies Philippines Inc. in Taguig City, Metro Manila. This full-time role will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable function and providing strategic financial support to the business.

What you'll be doing

Process and maintain accurate and timely accounts payable transactions Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies Manage the accounts payable approval workflow and ensure prompt payments to vendors Provide detailed financial reporting and analysis to support management decision-making Assist with month-end and year-end close processes Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial compliance and controls Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and standardise accounting processes Provide mentorship and guidance to more junior members of the finance team

What we're looking for

A bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 8+ years of progressive experience in a senior accounts payable or accounting role, ideally within the finance department of a large organisation Proven expertise in accounts payable operations, including invoicing, payments, and vendor management Strong financial reporting and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate financial records Proficient in using financial and accounting software, such as ERP systems and spreadsheet applications Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally Familiarity with local accounting standards and regulations
