The Senior Distributor Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing and strengthening the company's distributor network to ensure efficient product availability and market reach. This role supports business growth by developing capable, compliant, and profitable distributor partners, driving execution of sales strategies, and ensuring alignment with company standards and KPIs. The position plays a key role in expanding distribution coverage, improving operational excellence, and enabling consistent brand presence across all assigned territories.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage RDP KPIs and operations to ensure effective distributor performance.
- Develop RAM business within the territory through the distributor by driving growth on buying accounts, increase product distribution and development of local major accounts.
- Oversee distributor selection, renewal, and disengagement processes.
- Set and maintain Distributor Operating Guidelines and Standards.
- Drive distributor capability development through the creation and implementation of selling tools and manuals.
- Develop and implement distributor competency and assessment tools.
- Evaluate distributor financials and feasibility studies to ensure business sustainability.
- Manage KPIs of distributor partners through regular performance reviews and operational check-ins.
- Maintain and update the Distributor Business Operating Model through operations and periodical reviews.
- Develop and monitor distributor profitability standards and financial tools.
- Communicate distributor incentive parameters and ensure proper implementation.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align on distributor-related initiatives.
- Build strong partnerships with external distributors and service partners to drive business growth.
Qualifications, knowledge, skills required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in distribution management, channel development, or sales operations.
- Strong analytical and financial assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with CRM or ERP systems is an advantage.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple distributors and regions simultaneously.
- Willing to travel as required for distributor visits and business reviews.
