Job Description

A Visual Merchandising Associate implements window and product displays inside the store. Implements budget by gathering reports on expenses and coordinating with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely completion of deliverables. He also conducts store visits and monitors opening setups/redecoration of store displays.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Implements window and product displays in all company-owned stores, corners, and exhibits with the objective of enhancing product and competitive image, visual impact, and customer purchase.
  • Generating sketches of visual displays that meet the store's visual design requirements. Finalizing designs and creating detailed floor plans for display areas.
  • Highlights and designs product visibility based on factors such as relative profitability, local acceptability, urges and impulse tendencies, or other factors in close coordination with marketing.
  • Implements budget by gathering reports on expenses associated with visual conceptualization and execution.
  • Coordinates with contractors and suppliers and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Monitors all phases of new store opening setups/refurbishment from: -VM, project/timeline management, initial concepts, creative, layouts, production, VM props procurement & inventories, capex planning & management, logistics & delivery from initial/ implementation/ execution till final completion.
  • Conducts store visits to monitor store displays on a periodic and on need basis.
  • Helps in training and communication in the execution of planograms and other visual merchandising initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of any 4 year course related to designs, arts or visual merchandising.
  • With or Without Experience; Open for Fresh Graduates
  • Basic MS Applications, 3D, AutoCAD and/or Sketchup is a must, along with Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Suite,
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Has sense of urgency and follow-thru
