We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Associate Bookkeeper to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing reliable bookkeeping services for a range of clients, ensuring accurate financial records and timely month-end close processes. You will work in a collaborative environment with a team that values attention to detail, continuous improvement, and integrity.

This position is ideal for someone with strong bookkeeping experience, especially using QuickBooks Online, who thrives in a fast-paced, remote or on-site setting.

Job Duties:

  • Provide monthly and quarterly bookkeeping services for clients by reviewing, categorizing, and reconciling transactions.
  • Meet highly efficient deadlines and have the ability to quickly process all client work per our service agreement.
  • Communicate with team members to summarize month-end closing to ensure books are complete in a timely manner. Maintain detailed notes and documents in client files for continuity of service.
  • End-to-end bookkeeping on a monthly and quarterly basis for 30-45 clients each monthly and/or quarterly closing cycle.
  • Record day-to-day financial transactions for accounts receivable (A/R).

Requirements:

  • Highly proficient skills in bookkeeping.
  • 3+ years of paid experience in a bookkeeper role for a small business.
  • Active QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor certification.
  • Minimum of one year of experience working with QuickBooks Online.
  • QuickBooks Desktop experience (preferred but not required).
  • Online proficiency with technology; solid knowledge of computer software.
  • Integrity, with an ability to handle confidential information.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and the ability to adapt to changing demands.
  • Highly analytical, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
