Purpose of the Role:

This person is responsible for planning, managing, and completing WrkPod's construction and renovation projects—making sure everything is done on time, within budget, safely, and up to quality standards.

  • Graduate of Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
  • Must be a licensed Civil Engineer or Architect
  • Has managed construction or renovation projects for at least 5 years
  • Knows how to get permits and deal with LGUs
  • Preferably trained in project management (like PMP or PRINCE2)

Main Responsibilities:

1. Planning the Project

  • Create a plan for each project, including budget, timeline, possible risks, and what resources are needed.
  • Work with internal teams to make sure construction plans support business needs.
  • Do a proper site check before finalizing the project plan.

2. Managing Construction Work

  • Supervise the whole construction process from start to finish.
  • Work closely with contractors and suppliers on-site.
  • Track progress and fix issues or delays.
  • Make sure the site follows safety rules and construction standards.

3. Getting Permits & Following Laws

  • Handle all required permits like building, zoning, or environmental permits.
  • Ensure the work follows all Philippine construction laws.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and government offices.

4. Budget & Cost Control

  • Monitor spending and avoid going over budget.
  • Help get the needed materials and services at the right cost.
  • Keep a risk log and make sure risks are managed during the project.

5. Quality Checks & Handover

  • Regularly check the quality of work and make sure it meets WrkPod's standards.
  • Oversee final testing (electricity, air conditioning, etc.).
  • Ensure all needed documents are ready when turning over the finished site.

6. Reporting & Documentation

  • Keep all documents updated (plans, permits, reports).
  • Regularly update the Operations Manager and leadership on progress.
  • Record lessons learned to improve future projects.
