About the Role

Borg is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Credit Officer to join our Manila-based team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing customer credits due to product returns, faults, or invoice discrepancies. You will investigate claims, identify root causes, and recommend appropriate resolutions, working closely with both internal departments and external customers.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in accounting, credit claims, or returns management, and who thrives in a fast-paced and customer-focused environment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process credit claims (BRs, RMAs, CANs) for faulty, returned, or incorrectly charged products
  • Investigate the reasons behind returned or rejected items and provide solutions
  • Collaborate with internal teams and communicate directly with customers
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
  • Respond to inquiries via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
  • Escalate unresolved issues to the Team Leader or Supervisor
  • Meet accuracy and productivity KPIs while maintaining excellent customer service
  • Support other tasks within the Accounts Receivable department as needed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including health, safety, and HR standards

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)

Prior experience in credit processing, claims investigation, or accounts receivable

Strong data entry skills and high attention to detail

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks

Strong problem-solving and time management abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
