  • Approve applications within his/her authority and within rated capacity.
  • Evaluate and recommend applications to higher approving authority.
  • Ensure compliance to credit policies and procedures.
  • Prepare required reports.
  • Sending email verification requests.
  • Reject review/confirmation of accounts rejected by Credit Singers.
  • Ensure security of records of files and upkeep of work area and equipment.
  • Assist in administrative functions of the department.
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies and procedures, as well as external regulations while maintaining the highest level of service quality and productivity.
  • Perform such other duties that may be assigned by superior from time to time.

Qualifications:

  • College degree in Business administration or Banking and Finance related fields of study.
  • With at least 2 years of solid retail credit evaluation or credit underwriting experience gained from banking industry.
  • Strong familiarity with computer software and programs. E.g.: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Powerpoint, MS Office.
  • Good communication skills, including written and verbal English.
  • The ability to maintain acceptable level of job discretion. Performance is evaluated against the ability to make sound credit judgment calls, the ability to make sound decisions, a desire to make decisions, displaying a heightened level of accountability, demonstrating a sense of responsibility, confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Extremely proactive with a strong bias for action; well – developed sense of urgency.
