About the role

Polystar General Services is seeking a experienced Dispatcher to join our growing team in Makati City, Metro Manila. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of our fleet of vehicles to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods and services to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Receive and process client orders and delivery requests
  2. Assign appropriate delivery vehicles and drivers based on factors such as location, load, and scheduling
  3. Monitor vehicle locations and movements in real-time to ensure on-time deliveries
  4. Communicate with drivers and clients to provide updates and address any issues or delays
  5. Maintain detailed records of all delivery activities, including logs, timesheets, and performance data
  6. Collaborate with the production, planning, and logistics teams to optimise delivery routes and schedules
  7. Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality

What we're looking for

  1. 2+ years of experience in a dispatching or logistics coordination role
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients, drivers, and internal teams
  3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to quickly address issues and minimise disruptions
  4. Proficient in using dispatch management software and GPS/telematics systems
  5. Familiarity with local traffic patterns, road networks, and transportation regulations
  6. High attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  7. Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities and demands
