We are looking for a Technical Assistant. In the mining business, technical assistants serve an important supporting role by helping geologists, engineers, and other mining experts plan, coordinate, and carry out mining operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Modeling of Mineral Resources
  • Creation of optimized final mine designs
  • Determination of the yearly mine production plans, schedules which will result in maximum NPV of the deposit

  • Creation of the spreadsheet of the IRR/NPV of the mine or project

  • Assist with mine planning, scheduling, and production reporting.

  • Collect and analyze field data related to geology, geotechnics, and mining operations.
  • Support software-based analysis using tools like Surpac, AutoCAD, or GIS software
  • Coordinate with different departments including geology and engineering.

What we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Geology or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role in the mining sector (But not required).
- Knowledge of mine planning software and GIS tools.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and safety-conscious.
- Data entry, reporting, and analysis skills.
- Understanding of mining methods, equipment, and processes.
