Job Title: Corporate/Litigation PH Attorney

Work Schedule: Tue to Sat, 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM PHT / Mon to Fri, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Central Time (Full-Time, Remote)

Job Summary:

Unified Law is looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive Philippine-licensed Attorney to support U.S.-based clients in various corporate and litigation-related matters. The ideal candidate is passionate about legal research and writing, has an excellent command of procedural rules, and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, is resourceful, and is eager to develop a specialization in U.S. litigation support.

Key Responsibilities:

● Conduct legal research on U.S. federal and state litigation rules, court procedures, and case law.

● Draft litigation support documents such as legal memoranda, case summaries, discovery responses, motions, and pleadings.

● Assist in the preparation of trial binders, exhibit and witness lists, and deposition summaries.

● Review and summarize depositions, transcripts, and case records.

● Prepare discovery materials such as interrogatories, requests for admission, and requests for production.

● Organize and maintain case files, document repositories, and litigation calendars.

● Support e-filing processes by coordinating with U.S. counsel and ensuring documents meet jurisdictional formatting and procedural requirements.

● Monitor deadlines and assist in preparing compliance and case status reports.

● Assist in document review and privilege log preparation using litigation support tools.

● Collaborate with litigation team members to support strategy development and case management.

● Utilize legal technology tools for research, document management, and workflow efficiency.

Qualifications:

● Juris Doctor degree in Law and admission to the Philippine Bar.

● Entry-level applicants are welcome; highly preferred qualifications include internship or paralegal experience in litigation or legal support, prior work as a litigation attorney in the Philippines, or experience providing litigation support to international clients.

● Strong legal research and analytical writing skills.

● Familiarity with U.S. civil procedure, court systems, and common litigation terminology.

● Excellent attention to detail and time management skills in handling multiple active cases.

● Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive).

● Strong proofreading and document formatting skills, with the ability to handle complex legal documents with precision.

● Tech-savvy, with a willingness to learn litigation software platforms (e.g., Clio, Relativity, Westlaw, LexisNexis).

● Able to work independently, maintain confidentiality, and deadline-driven in a remote setting.
