Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations for Australian clients
  • Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and BAS lodgements.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, general ledgers, and other financial records.
  • Ensure compliance with ATO requirements and Australian accounting standards.
  • Handle bookkeeping, payroll, and end-of-month reporting.
  • Communicate with clients to address accounting queries and provide financial insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working with Australian clients.
  • Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian taxation and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
