Job Description:

The Hygiene Supervisor oversees and implements all hygiene, sanitation, and cleaning procedures to ensure the facility complies with food safety and regulatory standards. The role is responsible for supervising hygiene staff, monitoring cleaning schedules, inspecting production areas, and ensuring proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment. The Hygiene Supervisor works closely with QA, Production, and Maintenance teams to maintain a safe, clean, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead hygiene staff in daily cleaning and sanitation activities
  • Develop, implement, and monitor sanitation SOPs and cleaning schedules
  • Conduct regular inspections of production and storage areas
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and company hygiene standards
  • Coordinate deep-cleaning activities and verify effectiveness
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning materials, tools, and chemicals
  • Train employees on hygiene protocols and proper chemical handling
  • Prepare sanitation reports and support audit requirements
  • Address hygiene-related concerns and recommend corrective actions

Qualifications:

  • With experience in sanitation or hygiene operations in food manufacturing is an advantage
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety standards
  • Strong leadership, communication, and monitoring skills
