The Sanitation Supervisor oversees the daily cleaning and sanitation activities in the production facility to ensure compliance with food safety, GMP, and company hygiene standards. The role is responsible for supervising sanitation staff, maintaining sanitation schedules, ensuring proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and supporting audit readiness at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily sanitation activities and ensure all areas meet cleanliness and hygiene standards.
  • Implement and monitor SSOPs, GMP, HACCP, and other food safety requirements.
  • Supervise, train, and schedule sanitation staff.
  • Ensure proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals, tools, and sanitation equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections and address sanitation issues or contamination risks.
  • Maintain sanitation logs, checklists, and audit-related documentation.
  • Coordinate with production and QA teams to resolve hygiene concerns and support audit readiness.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2–3 years of experience in food manufacturing sanitation or related role.
  • Knowledge of GMP, SSOP, HACCP, and food safety regulations.
  • Experience supervising a sanitation team is an advantage.
  • Physically fit and able to work in cold/wet environments.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to enforce standards.
  • Willing to work flexible hours or shifting schedules.
