The Team Leader oversees the offshore production team, ensuring timely, accurate, and high-quality deliverables for US clients. This role involves coordinating with SMEs, managing team schedules, supervising output quality, and supporting process improvement initiatives. The Team Leader also acts as the main communication link between the offshore team, SME, and SVI Account Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate with the SME to schedule and assign tasks for the offshore team, ensuring alignment with client requirements and deadlines.

  2. Oversee the quality and accuracy of team deliverables, providing feedback, corrective measures, and performance evaluations.

  3. Train, mentor, and support new team members for effective onboarding and development.

  4. Manage team schedules, including PTO approvals, overtime, and holidays, while adhering to BBSI's Pacific Time work hours.

  5. Raise and escalate resource or access issues (e.g., network, tools, or system credentials) to the SME for timely resolution.

  6. Participate in process walkthroughs to define and clarify workflow steps, ensuring alignment with project and client expectations.

  7. Recommend and implement process enhancements to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and strengthen compliance.

  8. Submit regular progress and status reports to the SME and SVI Management, serving as the primary communication link between the offshore team and stakeholders.

  9. Perform other tasks as may be assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in leading a team is preferred.
  • Background in back-office Accounting is an advantage but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Management is preferred.
  • Willingness to work the night shift is preferred.
