Role Overview:

As a Business Analyst (BA), you will be responsible for analyzing existing systems and documentation to gather business and technical requirements and compiling them into a structured System Requirements Specification (SRS). You will collaborate closely with developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to ensure clarity and alignment on requirements. Additionally, you will design test suites, perform System Integration Testing (SIT), and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate system functionality and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

System Analysis & Documentation:

  • Analyze current system behavior, workflows, and functionalities.
  • Document requirements and findings into a detailed System Requirements Specification (SRS).
  • Conduct client workshops and requirement-gathering sessions to ensure alignment and clarity.

Testing & Issue Resolution:

  • Develop comprehensive test suites based on the SRS to validate system behavior.
  • Execute System Integration Testing (SIT) and ensure functionality matches expected outcomes.
  • Investigate and analyze defects; collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
  • Document SIT results and maintain a defect log.

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Support:

  • Assist users during UAT, ensuring test scenarios and expected functionality are fully understood.
  • Address user inquiries and provide system clarifications.
  • Coordinate resolution of issues raised during UAT with the development team.

Communication & Collaboration:

  • Present findings, system behavior, and recommendations clearly and professionally.
  • Act as the liaison between clients and developers to ensure smooth communication and timely resolution of issues.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for functional and process improvements.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Experience in documenting requirements using structured formats such as SRS.
  • Hands-on experience in creating Test Suites and performing SIT.
  • Working knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Basic understanding of Java or similar programming languages is an advantage, especially for system logic analysis.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality in execution.

Job Type: Temporary
