We are looking for Sr. Business Analyst to work for our client located in BGC

This role is on a Hybrid Setup that follows a Night Shift Schedule

Salary is up to 90K max based on experience and interview result

Minimum requirement of 8 years with background in app development in the banking/financial industry

A "Senior Business Analyst" is a professional working at the interface between the business functions and the Business Application Group, leading and guiding a team of business analysts during projects. You are responsible for understanding business requests and capturing business requirements, in order to contextualize them into functional and technical capabilities within the business platforms and their associated applications that are provided by the Business Applications Group.

Productivity and Quality

  • Ensure that business requests are concrete and documented thoroughly
  • Ensure seamless handover to engineering for the design and implementation phases of software development through clear, comprehensive documentation and well-established requirements traceability
  • Lead the gathering and documentation of high-quality functional and non-functional requirements for applications solutions, ensuring sound alignment between business expectations and software/solution delivery
  • Sensibly drive discussions between the business and technology to ensure alignment on expectations of the business functionalities being delivered through the business applications

Collaboration

  • Own the scoping and prioritization of business requirements and contribute positively to the scoping discussions between platform and business stakeholders
  • Lead knowledge sharing sessions with junior peers, application engineering and operations enablement teams
  • Coordinate the buddy allocations for new joiners during their onboarding and foster proactive collaboration among peers e.g., active peer reviews
  • Effectively communicate, proactively manage the relationship with business and platform stakeholders, while developing the ability to influence
  • Actively participate in the development and review of software standards, software solution documentation and implementation within the Business Application Groups platform(s) of your expertise

Leadership

  • Stay on the leading edge of application development practices and remain current on new technologies and available vendor packages
  • Serve as a functional lead of a specific group of applications contributing to and guiding the efforts of development teams
  • Manage junior business analysts
  • Mentor junior colleagues and facilitate their skills/knowledge development through advice, coaching, knowledge transfer and training opportunities

Compliance

  • Timely complete all compliance obligations and trainings, including relevant professional certification if applicable
  • Thoroughly understand and guide team members on the compliance, security and operational responsibilities in your area of work
