The Research and Development Associate for Internal Developments directly reports to the R&D Manager regarding the development of new and existing raw materials and processes in accordance with the quality and food safety requirements, the management directives, client request and/or statutory requirements.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

Request Management: The role involves receiving and managing requests for new raw materials or process development from various internal departments.

Project Tracking: Responsible for keeping an Internal Development tracker up-to date to monitor progress.

Job Order (JO) Creation: A significant part of the job is the creation of a Job Order (JO) number, which involves preparing requests, coordinating with signatories, and reviewing specifications.

Coordination & Execution: The role requires extensive coordination with multiple departments, including purchasing, management, and operations-to ensure the timely and proper execution of R&D projects.

Quality & Compliance: Responsible for ensuring that all R&D jobs and developments comply with quality, food safety, and client requirements. This includes conducting onsite monitoring and inspections during production.

Reporting: Required to provide updates on the internal development tracker when needed.

General Tasks: Perform other tasks assigned by a superior or management that are related to the job.
