Duties and Responsibilities

  • Reviews and design architectural and engineering plans.
  • Ensure all plans are compliant with governmental health and safety regulations.
  • Research and maintain knowledge of various engineering disciplines, application methods, and materials.
  • Monitors the work of other Architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required.
  • Provides guidance to subcontractors like builders, plumbers, and electricians, and helping them interpret design specifications.
  • Ensures team works together to achieve set goals and targets.
  • Acts as a mentor to junior architects and helping them fine-tune their design skills and improve their industry knowledge.
  • Performs other related job/duties as may be assigned by the management from time to time.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Architecture.
  • Must be a Licensed Architect.
  • At least 5 - 7 years of work experience in design and construction, renovation works, retrofitting, fixture design and display plans.
  • Knowledgeable with latest design concept, drawing and interior designing ideas Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, Photoshop and MS Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Preferably supervisory of 5 years and up experienced employee specialized in Architecture / Interior Design or equivalent.
  • Has excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Organizational, project management and planning skills, including the ability to multitask with competing demands.
  • A keen eye for details of specific tasks, combined with an understanding of how much specifics fit into the project as a whole.
  • An analytical mind with the excellent problem-solving ability
  • Can work well within a team involving other professionals.
