The General Accountant is responsible for managing the financial activities of Zeta Prime, specifically focusing on accounting tasks related to property leasing operations. This includes maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, managing lease revenue, tracking expenses, handling taxes and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Record all financial transactions related to leased properties, including rental income, lease incentives, service charges and property operating expenses.
  • Monitor tenant billing, collections and lease payment schedules to ensure accurate revenue recognition.
  • Reconcile bank statements, tenant accounts and general ledger balances regularly.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, including profit & loss statements, balance sheets and cash flow reports.
  • Maintain updated records of lease contracts, security deposits and lease-related accounting entries.
  • Prepare and submit tax filings (e.g., VAT, EWT, etc.) and ensure compliance with BIR.
  • Compute for monthly government contributions (SSS, Pag-IBIG, PhilHealth) and prepare/file statutory reports and documents, ensuring that all filings and payments are submitted before deadlines.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
  • Work closely with property managers and leasing teams to align financial data with lease terms.
  • Ad hoc tasks as may be assigned by the management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related program
  • At least 1 year of accounting experience. Experience in real estate or property management accounting is a plus
  • Knowledge in usage of accounting softwares e.g. QuickBooks
  • High attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Effective communication and coordination skills
  • Can start ASAP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php20, Php23,000.00 per month
