JOB DESCRIPTION/FUNCTIONS:

ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT - (Php 18,

PLANNING AND MANAGEMENT DIVISION - Bookkeeping Unit

  1. Analyze and record disbursements for Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses (MOOE) assigned by Head, Bookkeeping Unit and Section Head;

  2. Monitor the general and subsidiary ledgers of assigned financial transaction / accounts and ensure accuracy of their monthly balances;

  3. Prepare all necessary reports related to the assigned financial accounts;

  4. Collect and file all monthly Journal Entry Vouchers, Disbursement Vouchers, Adjustments and Supporting documents/reports to be submitted to the Commission on Audit;

  5. Prepare monthly JEV Listings and Summary of General Journal;

  6. Perform administrative tasks such as receiving and forwarding/submission of communications, other documents or reports to and from Bookkeeping Unit/Accounting Section, maintaining of communication and files system for easy retrieval of documents and reports and answering internal and external queries regarding payments for MOOE and Veteran's Benefits; and

  7. Perform other duties that may be assigned by Unit and Section Head.

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Php18,957.00 per month
