Primary responsibilities for Administering a 20+ year old Salesforce OrganizationSalesforce Required experience:2-3 years experience as Salesforce AdminUnderstanding of flows, Ability to write flows, Converting existing process into flows.Knowledge and Experience in the ff:Full use of the Setup UIProcess Settings, Feature Configurations, etc.Use of Setup and Service SetupUser ManagementRole HierarchyProfilesGroupsPermission Sets & PS GroupsLicensing Management and AssignmentOur Org associates a Contact with each User AccountAutomationValidation RulesProcess AutomationWorkflow Rules, etc.Flows and Flow TriggersConverting archaic automations to FlowsMonitoring Flow usage, etc.ReportingCreating and management of Report TypesCreating/editing Layouts, with SectionsCreating/editing Reports of all types; including Joined ReportsManage sharing and subscriptions to ReportsDashboards Salesforce Required Knowledge and experience (continued):Features and configurationsObject ManagerManaging Standard & Custom ObjectsManaging/adding/editing custom fieldsObject history tracking, field-level security, etc.Lightning App BuilderUnderstand Page Types, their creation and editing.Understand Lightning Page ActivationsOrg-wide, App-specific, & App/Profile-combinationsKnowledge of Classic Page LayoutsUsed as basis for display of records in LightningCreating Buttons and placing them on page layoutsKnowledge of Object List/Search/Compact Layouts/Management of List ViewsData Mgmt.Ability to use Schema BuilderMass Record ReassignmentsDataloader Mass Transfers / UpdatesCapturing backup data to BoxCustom Settings & MetadataUnderstand their use and creationEdit ValuesAdd Custom FieldsEmail ManagementMaintain DeliverabilityTroubleshooting delivery issuesApp Manager/App ExchangeInstalling Salesforce PackagesUpdating Salesforce PackagesAssigning Package Licenses Salesforce Bonus Knowledge and Experience:Classic UI Use & ManagementButtons, Page Layouts, Salesforce Apps, etc.Lightning UI Use & ManagementCreating/managing Salesforce Lightning AppsAssigning Apps for UsersMigrating Users from Classic to Lighting UIOur Lightning layouts are based on Classic page layoutsClassic Page & related list buttons do not work in Lightning UI.Must create Lightning button and add to Lightning Page Layouts.Each Team has their own Lightning App with custom Record Page Layouts.Lightning Adoption MonitoringExperience with DocuSign Gen & eSign Salesforce PackagesExperience with Email-to-Case Salesforce AppMonitor/Manage Apex Job QueuesKnowledge of tasks associated with our Classic->Lightning migration process:Cloning a ProfileCreation of Classic page layouts without Classic buttonsAssigning these 'no Classic button' page layouts to ProfilesMigrating users to the new 'no button' ProfilesExperience in Salesforce Development is plus
