JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

JOB SUMMARY (PARAGRAPH FORMAT)

The primary role of an Accounting Staff is to render administrative and record keeping tasks related to the accounting function. The Accounting Staff ensures to adheres the accounting standards and principles in carrying out the task.

JOB DESCRIPTION (DUTIES AND TASKS)

· Collation of BIR 2307 (CWT) for filing of income tax return – to be submitted two (2) weeks before due date of ITR filing

· Set up input VAT for accounts payable voucher's weekly simultaneous with weekly expense report preparation or on before 5th day of the following month

· Preparation of accounts payable voucher weekly or as needed – depending on urgency of billing

· Filing of journal entries and check voucher's weekly

· Preparation of various schedule before Bureau of Internal Revenue deadlines and accounts payable voucher before utilities deadline

· Various advances monitoring to be submitted on the 10th following the month end

· Sales invoicing to be finished after cost sales or on the 8th following the month end

· Monthly inventory count – participates in monthly inventory count in Mandaluyong Warehouse

· Ensure proper documentation of new vendors

JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION

Bachelor's Degree in Finance / Accounting / Banking or equivalent

WORK EXPERIENCE

Fresh graduates may be considered

COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS

· Computer proficiency especially in Excel

· Familiarity with basic accounting principles

· Systematic and organized

· Time Management

· Keen attention to details

· Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive

· Good verbal and written communication skills
