Join Hazel Executive & Boards, a boutique executive search and advisory firm, as our Research Analyst & Project Administrator — a vital position supporting our Founder & Managing Partner to deliver exceptional leadership recruitment services for public sector and for-purpose organizations. Role OverviewAs the Research Analyst & Project Administrator, you'll play a critical role in supporting our executive search engagements.

This is a multi-faceted position combining in-depth market research, project coordination, and high-quality documentation. Key ResponsibilitiesExecutive Research & Market MappingConduct targeted market research to identify and profile executive talent. Create insightful market maps aligned with client briefs.

Use tools like Loxo CRM and other databases to gather and deliver actionable intelligence. Project Administration & Workflow SupportCoordinate end-to-end project timelines and milestones. Maintain up-to-date documentation and ensure smooth progress tracking.

Support consultants with pitches, candidate reports, and client-ready presentations. Document Management & Quality AssurancePrepare high-quality client deliverables with accuracy and consistency. Ensure document version control and apply quality checks on research and candidate data.

Internal Support & CollaborationAct as a key support partner to the Founder and consultants. Proactively suggest process improvements and provide scheduling/admin assistance. Data Integrity & Knowledge ManagementMaintain clean, accurate data across internal systems (e.g., Loxo CRM).

Continuously improve research methods and knowledge-sharing practices. What We're Looking ForExperience & EducationExperience in executive search, market research, or project coordination.

Exposure to professional services or recruitment environments is a plus. Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred (not required). Skills & CompetenciesStrong research and analytical abilities.

Exceptional attention to detail and document preparation skills. Solid project management and organisational capabilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Loxo, Canva, or Gamma a bonus.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Positive, proactive attitude with a collaborative mindset — and a great sense of humour
