Job Summary:

The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of industrial equipment and facility systems to support smooth production operations at Unilox Industrial Corp. The role involves preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting mechanical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery, mechanical systems, and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct routine inspections and testing of equipment to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
  • Support installation, setup, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
  • Document maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacements accurately.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify recurring issues and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and maintenance supplies.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities follow company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • At least Vocational/Technical Certificate or Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in equipment maintenance or related field in an industrial/manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge in mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and welding/fabrication is an advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Willingness to work on shifting schedules and render overtime as needed.
