Pag-asa Steel is seeking motivated Mechanical Engineers who will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of Mechanical Maintenance Plans. Responsibilities include supervising, motivating, and training Mechanical Personnel during maintenance shutdowns, as well as monitoring daily maintenance activities to ensure timely and proper completion of work. Mechanical Engineers will ensure that all required resources are properly programmed, planned, forecasted, scheduled, and monitored to restore plant equipment to its basic condition, thereby achieving effective and economical operation, and meeting target production volume, quality, and productivity.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (licensed or unlicensed)
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing or industrial set-up
  • Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals, strong numerical ability, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) mandatory; skills in statistical, ERP, reporting, and AutoCAD/drawing software a plus
  • Experience in one of the following: production, engineering, maintenance, machine shops, project management
