Overview

We are looking for an experienced Accountant to support financial operations, payroll, and compliance, ensuring accurate reporting and adherence to U.S. regulations.


Job Highlights

Hourly Rate: Php

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 20 hours

Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible between 9:00 AM–9:00 PM EST

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an "Independent Contractor," the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.


Responsibilities

  • Reconcile bank accounts monthly and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accurate financial statements.
  • Process payroll while ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work with the IRS to resolve issues and ensure tax compliance.
  • Collaborate with outsourced accounting firms on tax filings and strategies.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for senior management.
  • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures for compliance and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is a must.
  • Proficiency in Acumatica preferred.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Experience in payroll processing and tax compliance.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • U.S.-based accounting experience is required.
