Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
  • +1 or 2years experience in field inventory or in accounting
  • Expertise with MS Office, especially excel

Key Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining an accurate Fixed Assets Register (FAR), ensuring proper recording of acquisitions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, PFRS) and company policies. Ensures correct asset classification and monitors capitalization practices.

Supports internal and external audits through preparation of asset-related documentation and ensures regulatory and insurance compliance. Conducts regular physical asset counts and reconciliations, investigates discrepancies, and prepares detailed reports on asset movements, balances, depreciation, and utilization.

Recommends and implements process improvements in asset tracking and control, including the use of tools such as barcoding, RFID, or ERP modules, while ensuring smooth coordination of asset tagging and documentation across departments.
