Job Summary:

The Procurement Supervisor will oversee and manage the day-to-day procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. This role will supervise a small team, maintain supplier relationships, ensure compliance with company policies, and drive procurement efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services.
  • Monitor and manage the procurement team's performance, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, prices, and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, and relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure requirements are met.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations and maintain approved supplier lists.
  • Prepare procurement reports, cost analyses, and recommendations for management.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and operational efficiencies.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of procurement best practices, supply chain processes, and relevant

regulations.
