Job Summary:

The HVAC-R Project Supervisor is responsible for managing and supervising day to day the complete implementation of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC-R) systems for various types of facilities including buildings, data centers, manufacturing plants, and cold storage facilities and others. This role ensures projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and quality standards. This role act as the key link between customer representative, contractors and project management team,

Key Responsibilities:

· Supervise HVAC-R installations including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, CRAC units, refrigeration systems, ducting, and piping.

· Interpret and review HVAC-R layout plans, construction drawings, and technical specifications.

· Oversee day-to-day project site operations and lead HVAC-R technicians and subcontractors.

· Coordinate HVAC-R activities with other engineering disciplines (electrical, civil, structural).

· Conduct inspection and quality control checks; ensure workmanship meets design and regulatory standards.

· Monitor schedules and progress, submit daily/weekly report.

· Resolve technical and on-site issues with urgency.

· Ensure timely Manage procurement tracking and delivery of HVAC-R equipment and materials.

· Support testing, commissioning, and system integration of HVAC-R and control systems.

· Ensure compliance with building codes, environmental standards, and safety protocols.

· Maintain project documentation including daily reports, safety logs, and progress updates.

· Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams for project alignment and updates.

Project-Specific Focus:

For Building Projects:

Coordinate ducting, ventilation, and AHU/FCU layouts with architectural and civil works.

For Data Centers:

Supervise installation of precision cooling units (CRAC/CRAH), hot aisle/cold aisle containment, and ensure redundancy compliance (N+1, 2N).

For Manufacturing Plants:

Oversee HVAC-R systems supporting process cooling and ensure compliance with industrial ventilation standards.

For Cold Storage Facilities:

Manage installation of refrigeration systems including compressors, evaporators, condensers; monitor temperature control accuracy and insulation performance.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

· PRC license and preferably with TESDA NC II/NC III certification

· –5 years of experience supervising HVAC-R projects, preferably in mixed-use commercial, industrial, or mission-critical environments.

· Proficient in reading mechanical blueprints, isometric drawings, and P&IDs.

· Knowledge of HVAC-R control systems (BMS, SCADA) is an advantage.

· Strong team leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

· Willing to travel and be assigned to project sites nationwide.

Additional Requirements:

· Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM software is a plus.

· Valid driver's license and safety certifications (e.g., COSH, BOSH) are advantageous.

· Flexible to work extended hours and shifting schedules as project timelines require.
