About the role

As the Operations Manager (Local Collections) at High Tech Smart Solutions', you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our local collections team. This full-time position is based in our Ortigas Pasig City office in Metro Manila and will see you responsible for driving the efficiency and effectiveness of our collections processes.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and oversee a team of collections specialists to ensure targets and goals are consistently met
  2. Monitor collections performance and implement strategies to improve recovery rates
  3. Analyze collections data and reports to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement
  4. Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, finance and customer service teams to enhance the collections experience
  5. Develop and implement policies, procedures and training programs to uphold compliance and best practices
  6. Foster a positive team culture and provide coaching and mentorship to drive employee engagement and development

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in collections management or a related operations role, preferably in the call center or customer service industry
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders
  4. Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve targets and key performance indicators
  5. Up-to-date knowledge of collections best practices, legal and regulatory requirements
  6. Proficient in using collections and reporting software and tools
