Job Description:

We are looking for a Kitchen Helper to support our dimsum chefs in preparing and organizing ingredients, assembling dimsum items (such as siomai, hakaw, and dumplings), and maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth flow of daily kitchen operations, especially in fast-paced restaurant settings specializing in traditional and modern dimsum dishes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in basic food preparation such as chopping, washing, and portioning ingredients.
  • Help in the manual preparation of dimsum items (e.g., wrapping siomai, forming dumplings).
  • Steam or pre-cook dimsum products under the guidance of the head cook or chef.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, including work surfaces, tools, and equipment.
  • Support in inventory checking, stocking of supplies, and proper food storage.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Dispose of kitchen waste properly and assist in dishwashing when necessary.
  • Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • At least High School Graduate
  • With or without experience (but kitchen or food prep background is an advantage)
  • Willing to learn dimsum preparation techniques
  • Physically fit and able to stand for long hours
  • Fast learner, team player, and can follow instructions carefully
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and holidays

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php12, Php13,000.00 per month
