What you'll be doing

  1. Greet and welcome customers, and guide them to their tables
  2. Take food and drink orders, and communicate these clearly to the kitchen
  3. Serve food and drinks to customers in a timely and professional manner
  4. Ensure tables are cleared and reset promptly between seatings
  5. Handle cash and card payments, and operate the till system
  6. Provide recommendations on menu items and specials to enhance the customer experience
  7. Maintain a clean and organised dining area, ensuring high standards of presentation
  8. Assist with any other duties as required to support the smooth running of the restaurant

What we're looking for

  1. Previous experience working as a Waiter or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality industry
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a friendly and professional demeanour
  3. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  4. Good numeracy skills and experience handling cash and card payments
  5. A keen interest in food and drink, and a desire to provide exceptional customer service
  6. Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
