  • Collate information from field engineers and assist in the preparation of the monthly Application for Payment.
  • Ensure that monthly payment applications reflect accurate and appropriate measurements, considering work completed and materials delivered for packages responsible your responsibility.
  • Prepare quantity take-offs and estimates from Construction Drawings. Duties extend to preparing, calculating and controlling budgets for man-hours, equipment and materials.
  • Input in the procurement of Sub-Contractors, Evaluation of monthly Sub-Contractor Payment Certificates and input in the close out Sub-Contractor Final Account.
  • Monitor Sub-Contract Account for possible variations and claims. Input in the Project Change Control process.
  • Awareness of EOT Claims, bring to the attention of the Senior QS to prepare the Claim.
  • Ensure compliance with ACDM JV's work health and safety policies, standards and procedures and the JV's established auditing practices.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Project Director and/or Sr. Contracts and Commercial Manager.

Minimum Requirements:

  • University Graduate of Construction/Engineering related field with excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Keen interest in pursuing a career in Quantity Surveying. Detail oriented and process driven, with excellent problem solving skills coupled with the ability to multitask.
  • Ability to manage time to strictly meet project deadlines.
  • Strong team player and above average interpersonal skills. The role will require interaction with different departments on the project to gather information within a fixed deadline.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications. Awareness of Programme Management software. (Primavera).
  • Must be located/residing in Philippines.
