Great Western Leasing & Sales (GWLS) is a dynamic trailer Sales, Leasing, and Rental company in significant growth mode. The company is headquartered in Irvine, California and currently has operations in Fontana, California; Albuquerque, New Mexico; Grant's Pass, Oregon; Houston, Texas; Dallas, Texas; Phoenix, AZ; and Salt Lake City, Utah. GWLS is seeking expansion into other sites in its current footprint, as well as into other cities across the country.
GWLS currently seeks a well-qualified Business Process Coordinator to temporarily support the company by documenting processes across departments and coordinating meetings to facilitate problem solving and project status. Critical to the success of this role will be the ability to engage others to effectively identify, build, and document practices across core business processes. The ideal person for this job will be someone who has IT business analyst experience and can facilitate meetings with stakeholders and document changes for improvement.
This person must have experience with the following:
- documenting a process
- capturing discussion in concise actions
- creating project plans/actions
- sending status and escalations related to projects.
- the person performing this role must be comfortable coordinating meetings with senior staff or executives, direct communication, plan agenda and capture minutes, and possess a process-oriented analytical mind capable of problem-solving people's challenges
- this person must be comfortable rolling up his/her sleeves to attack the day-to-day.
This is a high impact role that is accountable for:
Essential Functions:
- Effectively coordinate with all teams, vendors, and others across the organization to advance projects, develop solutions, and document issues across the business.
o Plan, set agendas, and prepare meeting documentation.
o Document discussion, meeting outcomes, and distribute actions for
follow up.
o Create project plans, set milestones, and due dates.
o Document process improvements, capturing enhancements visually so
everyone can efficiently make changes.
- Utilize technical platforms to coordinate process improvements or changes.
- Create project plans with multiple priorities, setting timelines, obtaining buy in agreement from participants, raising issues using good judgment.
- Communicate technical concepts in presentations, papers, and /or verbally to business partners in "plain English".
- Participate in the acquisition of other companies, documenting due diligence, completing legal paperwork for licenses, and coordinating vendors.

Minimum Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and be willing to take on new roles as needed. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
- 3 years' experience with project coordination responsibilities translating issues into actions and assignments. (open to seeing canddiates that are less than 3 years as long as they have the solid experience)
- Team player with positive, can-do attitude, excellent work ethic, and demonstrated ability to execute.
- Highly analytical, but also with creativity to seek and execute non-traditional approaches. (non-negotiable)
- Experienced in collecting and analyzing data- and more importantly, the communication of that information in a manner that enables improved business decisions.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, particularly in the negotiation, influencing, and collaboration areas.
- Change management experience particularly in the area of system implementation, including ability to take varying approaches with participants.
- Very strong Excel skills and ability to create complex spreadsheets;
- Very comfortable using MS PowerPoint.
