Order to Cash: Accounting Jr. Associate

Job description:

  • Monitors the cash flow of a company on a daily basis, making periodic analysis, by the use of certain investment skills and business acumen. It entails controlling all banking and operating systems and also managing the money transmission systems.
  • Invoice Management: Prepares, posts, and issues invoices promptly to support timely collections.
  • Accounts Reconciliation: Ensures accurate aging, applies credits and collections, and clears GL accounts including forex gains/losses and write-offs.
  • Collections & Monitoring: Tracks overdue receivables and initiates follow-ups via automated dunning or direct client contact.
  • Reporting & Coordination: Generates required reports and liaises with internal teams and external contacts to resolve AR-related issues.

  • Process Improvement & Support: Contributes to continuous improvement, supports SOP updates, assists new hires, and escalates issues to prevent penalties.

  • Supports full cycle or end to end process of accounts receivable including performing AR transaction processing such as Billing, AR payment reconciliation, and collection tasks. Researching, analysis and coordinating customer payment issues to reconcile AR accounts.

  • Audit & Compliance: Coordinates statutory audits and ensures compliance with tax regulations and IFR standards.
  • Banking & Financial Records: Manages company bank accounts and maintains accurate financial records, logs, and reconciliations.
  • General Ledger & Reporting: Assigns GL codes, prepares journal entries, and supports month-end close to meet reporting deadlines.
  • Process Improvement & Support: Contributes to Lean initiatives, supports SOP updates, and assists with onboarding new hires.
  • Issue Resolution & Escalation: Liaises with internal teams, escalates process concerns, and ensures customer service satisfaction.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Finance Accountancy or any related courses.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong analytical and business judgement skill.
  • Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Must have good understanding of Customer focus and service orientation.
  • Must have keen eye for details.
  • Must have proactive approach to problem solving, analytical mind.
  • Self-Starter, excellent time management.
  • Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership, strong sense of urgency, initiative and drive.
  • Flexible to work on morning or mid-shift schedules.
  • Willing to work in a hybrid setup.
  • Open to reporting onsite in Alabang.
