The Senior Team Leader is responsible for overseeing the accounting team, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting principles and company policies. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong background in accounting and leadership experience. The Senior Team Leader will manage multiple projects effectively, guiding the team to meet deadlines and achieve organizational financial objectives.

Job DescriptionLead and supervise a team of accountants, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in financial transactions. Oversee month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements, and other accounting records.

Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal policies. Manage workflow and assign tasks to team members based on priority and expertise. Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and performance.

Communicate with clients and stakeholders, addressing financial inquiries and providing insights. Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices to enhance efficiency. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.

Resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure accurate data entry and documentation. Required QualificationsExperience in managing and mentoring a team to achieve high performance. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Strong background in Revenue and Accounts Receivable. Experience with Reconciling Cash Accounts. Familiar with Accrued Expenses.

Experience with Fixed Assets. Familiar with Deferred Revenue. Knowledge of Prepaid Expenses.

Experience with Expenses and Accounts Payable. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance standards. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.

Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Screening CriteriaBachelor's degree in Accountancy.

Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification. Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience. At least two (2) years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Must have a stable employment history.
