Responsibilities:

  • Conduct testing and inspection of construction materials (soil, concrete, aggregates, asphalt, steel, etc.).
  • Verify compliance with project specifications, standards, and quality requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain material test reports, certificates, and documentation.
  • Coordinate with contractors and laboratories for material approvals and quality control.
  • Assist in quality audits and inspections related to material use and performance.
  • Monitor storage, handling, and usage of materials on-site.
  • Provide technical support to the project team on material-related issues

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Civil Engineer with proven experience in construction supervision (preferably in port or marine projects).
  • Prior experience as a Materials Engineer handling material testing and quality assurance.
  • Holder of a valid Materials Engineer I Certification.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials standards, specifications, and testing procedures.
  • Excellent reporting, documentation, and coordination skills.
